Hi, I’m Bob Donaldson.
I'll be your Leadership Instructor here at
The Lost Art of Collaboration.
Learn a Practical Path to Power
Whether it’s the power of the sun that supports all life on Earth, the flow of electrons through a wire, the contest of political will playing out in the debate hall or on the battlefield, or the power that money brings,
we all have an intrinsic relationship with power whether we like it or not.
When you engage power, you want to pick and choose your battles. My advice: you only want to pick the battles that are worth fighting.
Are those worthy challenges ?
Are those worthy opponents ?
Are those worthy decisions ?
Once you have decided to engage, you will need
power to create the desired outcome.
There’s plenty you can do and you are far more powerful than you realize. That’s not a pep talk. As a leader in a group you already think you have power,
but you have so much more power than you realize,
and how to utilize that power is exactly what you're going to learn with my
IAC framework.

"I’ve worked with Bob for more than 25 years on a wide array of efforts/projects ranging from public health emergencies to multi-year planning efforts. Inevitably, the successful completion of these projects required the collaboration of parties with vastly different agendas and definitions of success. Bob has displayed an unusual ability to assess the needs of the parties involved and craft a strategy for cooperation that will benefit everyone."

— Janet Cobb,
Executive Officer,
California Wildlife Foundation
